While most people call me Tonia, I also go by, “The Pacifier”, and one of my personal favourites, “The really nice lady with blonde hair who helped us.”

With an infectious energy and generous warmth, I’ll make sure you are spot on tickety-boo as we embark on the most unforgettable kickstart to your happily ever after. Laughter guaranteed.

Everything about the way I marry you comes from a desire to radiate joy - including why I do this all in the first place. There’s a contagious happiness I feel getting to witness two souls madly in love say their, “I do’s”. Being able to deliver a ceremony that’s true to the lovers themselves, with all the right doses of sincerity and humour, that happiness has no bounds. Its what I live for.

As for my gorgeous couples? Well, they’re often the cheeky ones who live on the playful side of love. When they choose me as their celebrant they’re empowered to be exactly who and what they are. Weird nicknames and all.

Whether you want romance and sophistication, or a touch of ratbag-ish cheekiness - whatever your ooze and gooze style, I’ll bring the warmth, the wit, and a whole lot of joy and together we’ll put on a true to you love celebration.

Through my career experiences, my role as a mum to three fabulous children including one with special needs, and a childhood that required me to become fiercely independent, I’ve developed a certain worldliness

The challenges I’ve experienced have shaped me into who I am - as a person and a celebrant. Empathetic, kind, and considerate I have a way of making others feel at ease and will always be there to help keep those cheeky butterflies at bay, or giving you that little, “you’ve got this” reminder.

Universally adaptable, I can fit into any crowd and it takes a lot to rattle my feathers - even the father of the groom forgetting his suit wasn’t enough to throw me.

Whether your dynamic is a quirky infatuation where you have jokes and nicknames only you understand, or more of a quiet, it-goes-without-saying assurance, to me love is love.

When you’re getting married, I believe a wedding should be about sharing YOUR lovey-dovey (or not lovey-dovey) love in a way that’s true to the authenticity of who you are as a couple. It’s about creating something that beautifully reflects the time of life you’re in now, and the things that are relevant to who you are in this moment together.

As your celebrant, I’ll be the guiding light that brings you back when others' expectations start getting in the way, and the adaptable genie who grants all of your ceremony wishes.

My biggest wish is that you look back on it with a fond smile, and the lasting satisfaction of knowing you made it everything you wanted - and more.

A classy & cheerful communicator

Communication is my superpower. I take the time to really listen and get to know all of my wonderful couples. Using language and references relevant to them, my ceremonies are crafted to flow beautifully, with a few fun surprises thrown in the mix, of course! With words that promote belly laughs and happy tears, I make your favourite people feel as though they’re just as big a part of the experience.

A classy communicator who’s never krass, “shivers” and “diddly squat” are about as close to cursing as you’ll get from me. I speak with just the right balance of sincerity and humour too. I know how to hold attention and create space within my delivery ensuring the audience are with us for every word, and that all the golden one-liners and important points to be made are heard and understood.
